Lying on a transparent pillow 20ft above air, walking through a spooky village of scary doll houses, paddling off a building on a boat and going to a 30-seat cinema on the roof top, all to bring our attentions to our precious surroundings.
This exhibition marks The Hayward’s 40th anniversary as one of the world’s most architecturally unique exhibition venues. It brings together the work of artists who create structures and environments that are mental and perceptual spaces as much as physical ones.
